Daniel is a user-centered product manager, content writer and community growth developer. He has cofounded and run a startup for over 2 years, targeted at using gaming as a tool for education, curating the improvement of learning experiences for university students, and blending education with entertainment.
Daniel has gained valuable experiences in top tech industries like Microsoft, under the Africa skillup program, Microsoft interns4Afrika, in marketing and support, and has won first place in the Anglophone West Africa regions rounds of the Schneider Electric Go Green challenge 2020 (a business-technology hackathon), and first runner up in the subsequent Middle East and Africa finals in 2020.
He has also worked with small medium and large startups in product development, project management and Customer-facing responsibilities, launching unique solutions especially in Edtech, Medtech, SaaS and renewable power generation sectors, one of such products being the winning idea at the Schneider Electric Go Green 2020 Anglophone West Africa rounds.
Daniel holds a B.Sc degree from The University of Ibadan, a Microsoft certification in CRM, and has gone through Leadership Programs organized by Harvard Business School. Prior to these, he went through The Bridge Program in 2019.
He currently brings all that creative leadership and technical expertise in managing the community engagement of The Afara Initiative, whilst leveraging on insights to coordinate the product development and acquisition of several technology products including the Global Peer Collaboration Platform, Afara’s newest program for enabling opportunities and collaboration across borders, as the Program Manager.
